During the Villages "Green Expo " on Saturday, October 23rd, at the Lake Miona Recreation Center, the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County will be conducting another large scale paper shredding event from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. for a donation. The licensed, insured mobile shredding unit is being sponsored by the Village Greens Environmental Club assisting the HS/SPCA in raising funds towards the "Green Shelter " campaign to construct Central Florida's 1st Green Animal Shelter.  "We encourage everyone to save their documents and have them shredded at this event to help our community get our shelter sooner than later. Then you can come in the Expo and learn how to live a greener life! " mentioned Claudia Labbe', Green Shelter Chairperson for the HS/SPCA. She added "The public often asked if/when we were going to have another shredding event, so here we are due to popular demand and the generosity of the Village Greens Environmental Club!
